My husband and I are certified Lay Speakers for the United Methodist Church. I have written devotions and articles for Christian magazines over the last 30 years. We are retired from computer related fields and have traveled the country in a motor home holding church services in various campgrounds. We are now living in Texas and one of our 3 chidren has moved near us with their family of 6 children.
I met Jesus as my Lord and Savior at the age of 33. Even though I was raised in churches, I did not understand that Christianity required a full commitment of every area of your life and is a way of life, not an activity. I find the walk with Jesus to be exciting and fulfilling. It amazes me where He takes me and what He manages to do through me.
