Enter In

Enter In

To enter into Your Presence

Behind the veil You tore,

To bow before You humbly

And worship and adore.

There just aren’t words to thank You

For this privilege You’ve given me

Without Your Holy Presence

There’d be nothing, Lord, in me.

What a privilege it is to enter into the presence of our God.  When they worshiped God, before Jesus died on the cross, there was a heavy veil separating the Holy of Holies from all mankind.  The only one who could enter was the priest, chosen that year, and only once a year under very stringent conditions.  When Jesus died on the cross for our sins, that veil was torn from top to bottom.  The only way that could happen was by the hand of God.  It is because of Jesus’ death on the cross and the tearing of the veil that allows us into God’s presence.  And we have that access any time, any place, under any conditions and as often as we would like.  The question is, how often do we want to be in God’s presence.
