It’s Sunday, Yea

Ps 95:2-3 Let us come before him with thanksgiving and extol him with music and song.  For the LORD is the great God, the great King above all gods.

Yea.  It’s Sunday.  We have the privilege of going to church to join with other saints in worship and praise to God.  I am so thankful for the freedom to do this.  I amps also thankful that God allows us to do this, that He wants our thanks and that he allows us to extol him with music and song.  When you sing in church you are singing to God.  Don’t be concerned that someone will hear how your voices sounds or that you can’t sing the right nights.  Fathers enjoy hearing their children whatever their voice sounds like or whether the tune is recognizable or not.  Sing to Him with joy and thanksgiving.  If you have prayers or responsive readings in your service, be sure to read boldly and with conviction.  It is not to those around us we are singing or speaking to.  It is the One Who gives us life, the One Who gave His only begotten Son to the cruelest death on a cross that we might have life, abundantly and eternal.
