Amazing Universe

Ge 1:1-2  In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.  Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.

We took some of our grandchildren to a planetarium a few nights ago.  The more science shares with us about what they discover about our universe, the more in awe I am of God.  It makes me aware of how insignificant we humans are in our short life span compared to all of creation in and beyond our known universe.  Yet, God, the creator of it all, loves us enough to have created us in His own image and give us freedom of choice, then come to our little world to die for our sin of separation from Him.  My finite mind cannot comprehend such love, kindness, and grace.  There are not words describe such love.  Next time you see a program about some aspect of our universe, think of the One Who Created it.  Someone started the gasses that eventually formed the stars and planets.  Someone started the first forms of life.  That someone is our Triune God – Father, Son and Holy Spirit Who was from before any beginning and will ever be.  Thanks be to God through Jesus Christ, I’ll be able to spend my eternity in His Presence.  You can too, if you will accept Jesus Christ, God’s only Son, made man, as Your Savior and choose to follow and obey Him.  You will never regret the process of getting to know Him.
