Growing Faith

Mt 17:20 He replied, “Because you have so little faith. I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.

Do you have a mountain in your life?  Is there something that seems impossible for you? How do we have the faith that will move mountains?  Faith is like a muscle.  It needs exercise to grow and become strong.  Spiritual exercise is found by studying God’s written wore, the Bible, by mediating on it so we know what His will is and by prayer – a two-way communication with God.  We start small.  Gradually our faith will grow as we see prayers answered.  Keep a prayer log with date and what we have prayed for then record the date and answer.  As we look through your log and see God’s faithfulness our faith grows.  As our faith grows we become bolder in our prayers and in our testimonies to others.  Let us exercise our faith every day.
