Jeremiah’s Prayer

Jer 32:17 “Ah, Sovereign LORD, you have made the heavens and the earthby your great power and outstretched arm.Nothing is too hard   for you.

Get out your Bible and read Jeremiah’s prayer from chapter 32:17-25.  This is an example of a prayer under great trial or distress.  Much time in our trials we are not sure how to pray.  Jeremiah address God and acknowledges God’s power.  Absolutely nothing is too difficult for God.  It may seem impossible to man but with God all things are possible.  Jeremiah acknowledges God sees all man does and all man doesn’t do.  He recounts some of God’s past miracles and some of the sins of past generations.  Then he promises his own obedience to God even though the outcome looks impossible.  Read and meditate not only on Jeremiah’s prayer but also on God’s response.  When we don’t see the working of God today it is because we are not being obedient to God’s instructions, which shows a lack of faith.  All through the Bible faith is the connecting link with God and His miraculous works.  Let us pray for faith for God to work in our situations an in our countries.
