Ecclesiastes 3:1 There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven:

I have finished designing, printing and addressing my Christmas cards.  I always try to do this before Thanksgiving so I can mail them the day after our Thanksgiving celebration.  I do this for 2 reasons.  I want people to get the card before it is just another card.  I also want to have my time during the Advent season to prepare my heart, mind and spirit for the real meaning of the season – the coming of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  What a beautiful season to follow Thanksgiving.  We already celebrate thankful hearts.  There are no accidents in timing.  God indeed has a time for everything and a season for every activity.  Man, in his false pride, thinks he is the one to establish our celebrations but it is really God Who does.  The reason we don’t think we have time for everything is we don’t ask God what part of everything we should be doing.  As we enter this busy time of year, instead of stressing out, let us be thankful for all God blesses us with and spend more time thanking Him and talking with Him.
