Luke 2:30 –32 For my eyes have seen your salvation, which you have prepared in the sight of all people, a light for revelation to the Gentiles and for glory to your people Israel.”

This is a powerful verse if you are a descendent of the Jews.  This is a Jewish profit attesting that Jesus, God’s Light, came for the Gentiles – all those who are not Jewish – and for the Jews of Israel as well.  God wants all mankind to walk with Him.  He sent His Son for all to see His light – the light that reveals the character of God so we might know, love and serve Him.  There is not one person to be excluded.  The question is whom do we exclude?  Who do we pass by and think God’s Light is not meant for them?  Let us accept all are accepted to come to God.  Let us be willing to share His Light with all we meet.  Let us not judge how they will receive what we share but just step out in faith and love and share the Light of God.  The rest is up to God’s Holy Spirit.  It is His Holy Spirit who quickens within us the seed of belief.
