Short Accounts

La 3:22-23 Because of the LORD’S great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.

Now that we have cleaned our inner house we can push on that God’s love and compassion for us is continually new each and every morning. I believe in keeping “short accounts” with God. This means reviewing my day at night and confessing the dos and didn’ts of the day, putting them under the blood of Jesus. In the morning God sees only the blood of Jesus. The sins of the day before are gone – gone forever. All things are new. As this year comes to a close start practicing short accounts with God. Maybe it can become a habit in the New Year.
