Ecclesiastics 3:1 There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven (The Holy Bible, New International Version)

In our fast paced world today it is hard to believe there is really time for everything. We are faced with so many options and so many demands for our attention and time that it seems we are spinning around aimlessly from one thing to another. When we are in that spin cycle we need to draw apart with God and ask Him what it is we should be doing. Shakespeare wrote “Much Ado about Nothing” and if we are honest with ourselves, much of our time is about nothing really important. Nutritionists recommend writing everything you eat to check your diet. Financial advisors recommend writing all you spend to see where your income is going. Maybe it would be good to record everything we do during a day and what it is we are doing to really see how much time is wasted. We are to do all things for the glory of God. This includes mundane things like washing dishes (a good time for prayer). If we are honest with ourselves we will find God provides us with all the time we need to be about His will and purpose for our lives.
