Romans 15:4 For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through endurance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope. (The Holy Bible, New International Version)

The Holy Bible, the written Word of God, amazes me. The components of it were written through different ages spanning hundreds of years. The writers were different people, living in different centuries, different cultures, different occupations and different methods of thinking. Some were kings and some lowly shepherds or fishermen. Some were poets and some well educated priests. Yet all is in symmetry and compiled together makes a whole. There are 66 books bound into the one Book we call The Holy Bible. This book has withstood the test of time and is most unique of all books every written. It is inspired and written by God’s Holy Spirit and applies to every man in every walk of life in every century. It has been translated in a variety of languages and dialects yet still remains steadfast. God speaks to man in man’s language. It contains direct quotes from God as well as the experiences of those God has worked through in the past. It is fully inspired by the Spirit of God. No other book has ever or will ever move and direct people in the way this book has. Other books have and will be inspiring in their way but non can rival the collection of books we call “The Holy Bible.” Yet, in spite of all this it is amazing how many Christians treat this book as a decoration on a table. When used regularly and studied it will; provide answers and directions for every life at every time and in every situation. Give someone the gift of this glorious book.
