Psalms 139:7 Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence? (The Holy Bible, New International Version.)

There is no place in any existence where God’s Spirit and presence is lacking. He is present everywhere. There is nothing hidden from Him. He sees us when we are lying, disobeying, wasting time, gossiping, complaining and anything else. He even knows every thought we ever have. What blows my mind is, in spite of His all knowing and all presence He still loves us. We deny Him through our words and actions in our disobedience yet He continues to love us and draw us to Him. He never causes us harm. He only wants the best for us. Yet we find things to complain about. We murmur under our breath. We worry and fret. When we find ourselves complaining or becoming dissatisfied with our lives, our situations or our relationships we need to get on our knees, confess our selfishness and thank and praise God for loving us in our sin to be willing to send His Son, Jesus Christ, to demonstrate His love for us and shed His blood so we can be united with God.
