by casting all your cares on him because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7

I got frustrated.  Trying to print out a simple birthday card and the printer wouldn’t work  after quite some time of trouble shooting I finally got the card printed out.  My steam engine to make it through the day was clogged.  Time to sit and rest.  Just sitting might be restful for the physical body but when frustrations disturb our peace it’s time to take a break with God.  It was a beautiful morning so I took my tablet with various versions of the Bible and sat on the porch.  The cool morning breezes started calming me down enough to open a Bible and bathe myself in God’s written words.  Often when I read I get the feeling of being hugged.  The Bible is full of instructions but it is also full of love.  Our question today is what will we do when we find frustrations crowding out God’s peace?  We can try on our own to push on or we can look to our Source of love, strength and energy – God.  Frustration behind and peace and energy restored, the remainder of my day was peacefully and energetically productful.
