1 Corthians 13:4-8 Love is patient, love is kind, it is not envious. Love does not brag, it is not puffed up. It is not rude, it is not self-serving, it is not easily angered or resentful, It is not glad about injustice, but rejoices in the truth. It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.  Love never ends.

Love does not brag.  How do we respond when someone tells us about their accomplishment?  If you haven’t noticed most of us quite often turn the conversation to ourselves and our own accomplishments.  This is one type of bragging.  We want others to know when we’ve been successful.  We hide our fears of inadequacy through bragging.  We fail to remember without God’s Holy Spirit working in and through us we can do no good.  Our question is when someone tells us of their accomplishment will we choose to rejoice with and for them without subcomung to the desire to respond with our own?  Let our bragging be of what we see God doing with, for and through others.
