1 Corthians 13:4-8 Love is patient, love is kind, it is not envious. Love does not brag, it is not puffed up. It is not rude, it is not self-serving, it is not easily angered or resentful, It is not glad about injustice, but rejoices in the truth. It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.  Love never ends.

Love bears all things.  Love doesn’t choose what things it will accept.  Love bears rejection without rejecting, love bears rudeness without being rude, love bears jealousy without boasting.  Love continues to serve and is giving even though others are only taking.  All this is done in an attitude of rejoicing in the truth of God’s love without anger or resentment.  Love bears all thingamajig not out of a must do attitude but out of a thankful and rejoicing attitude in the knowledge of Who God is.  Our question is are we willing to humble ourselves and admit apart from God and the in filling of His Holy Spirit we are incapable of this love?  Let us choose to confess our sinful nature to God, ask for His forgiveness each time we find we are not showing the attributes of love, forgive ourselves, and allow His Holy Spirit to fill and empower us afresh.  Once again, God leaves the choice to us.
