Peace Is a Sign

Let the peace of God rule (or arbitrate) in your hearts” (Col. 3:15

A good test on whee we are in our fellowship with God is where we are with peace.  Are we at peace with all those around us?  Are we at peace with those closest to us?  Are we at peace within ourselves?  If we can’t answer “yes” to all these questions we re not at peace with God.  God is peace and we cannot be in God without His peace.  When we re not in peace we are in sin — unconfessed sin.  We lack peace because sin breaks our fellowship with God until it is admitted, confessed and forgiven.  When we feel peace slipping away it’s time to draw apart and ask the Holy Spirit to show us what we did or didn’t do to cause that peace to slip away.  Our question is do we show any signs of lack of peace” anxiousness, worry, concern, fretting, fear, unbelief. hopelessness.  When any of these symptoms start to appear let’s not waste any time but get on our knees and set our relationship right with  God.
