Philippians 1:6  For I am sure of this very thing, that the one who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus.

‘sometimes we get discouraged in where we are in our faith and our walk with our lord God.  We think we should be more perfected in it.  We don’t understand why, after a few years it doesn[t come to us naturally and easily.   We wonder why we keep taking a couple steps forward than suddenly several steps back.  Read the verse again.  The holy Spirit is sure that God, who began a good work in us will perfect it.  The interesting thing is the timing.  he said until the day of Christ jesus.  He is speaking of the day jesus comes to earth to gather His Bride – all the believers who ha e become children of God through their belief in Jesus.  It is on that day we will be perfected in Him.  Until that time we still struggle.  We must pray for discernment as to what is our struggle and what is God’s part.  The instruction is continued in the Bible.  Our question is are we willing to really study the Bible for our instructions?  Are we willing to allow God’s Holy Spirit to teach us all we are to say and do?  That iw the start on the way to being perfectly in Him on the day we are united with Him.  I want to be ready for that glorious day.  I want to immerse my self in His instructions so He won’t have so much to do on that last day.
