Unity with Each Other

Mark 11: 25 And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive them, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins.”

Our relationship with each other is a direct reflection of our relationship with God.  When we are not one with each other we are not one in God.  Jesus prayed we would not only be one in Him but also one in each other.  As long as there are hurts, misunderstandings, arguments, unacceptance, criticism or any other words or feelings or actions that keep us ar odds with each other we are ar odds with God.  When we pray we must first confess these things that separate us from each other and from God, ask and accept His forgiveness and forgive those we are at odd with.  Many times we must go to someone and ask their forgiveness.  It has nothing to do with who was right and who was wrong.  It only has to do with the relationship of oneness.  In John 17:23 Jesus prays, ” I in them and you in me—so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.”  Our question is are we blocking our oneness in Him by blocking our oneness through Him with other believers?  We are each held responsible.  Let us bring the unity of our relationship with Jesus and with each other.  It doesn’t take being wrong or right.  It only takes a nimble heart and the love and obedience of, from and to our God through the power of His Holy Spirit.
