Ephesians 4:32  Instead, be kind to one another, compassionate, forgiving one another, just as God in Christ also forgave you.

One of our granddaughters was at a large chain store with her family on the Friday after Thanksgiving.  She saw 2 women fighting over a pillow and she called it a pillow fight.  There were also several other fights in that store over things.  This is they way of the worldly.  It is an attitude of mine, for me, get out of my way.  A lot of church members think because they don’t have physical fights they are above reproach.  God says to be kind to one another.  This means in our words as well as our actions.  So many churches explode when members disagree over finances or other things.  What we agree on is Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior and the only way into God’s family, forgiveness and eternal life.  All else is up for interpretation.  We can love each other and be kind and compassionate and forgiving even when we don’t always agree on finances, ministry or other aspects of church ministry or business.  During holiday times people get tired and become more sensitive.  Let’s keep our sensitivity for the compassion and love for others rather than what we want for ourselves.  God will bless us as we bless others.
