Luke 2:9  An angel of The Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were absolutely terrified.

I can imagine how frightened they must have been.  They never saw an angel and were not sure what it was they were seeing.  Then an entire chorus of angels filled the air.  The first angel told them about the birth of a new King and all the angels sang praises to God.  If I were them I would be checking my water jug to see if someone had put something else in it.  They decided to go check out what the angel said and they did find the stable with the new-born baby, Jesus.  Shepherds were considered to be the lower class.  Yet God chose them to be the first to come and worship His Son.  What a privilege.  They were willing to leave their work and go and search for the stable and the new-born King.  Our question is ae we willing to search for Him?  He says in His written Word, the Holy Bible, to search diligently for Him and we will find Him.  We need to search for Him each and every day in all we do and all we see.  He is always with us but we don’t always see Him because we don’t search.  Let us search and we will find.  Our days will be full of the joy of God and what He is doing in, through and around us.
