What We Can Give

Acts 3:6. But Peter said, “I have no silver or gold, but what I do have I give you. In the name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene, stand up and walk!”

How often have we heard or said ourselves, “I wish I could give or help but I don’t have anything.”  Peter had no money but He was open to God’s Holy Spirit wanting to give through him.  So often we think money will make everyone’s problems go away.  There are many needs besides money.  We need to learn to allow God to show us the need and be willing to allow Him to meet the need through us.  The possibilities of what He can do through His obedient children are endless.  I will not suggest any so each of us can remain open without preconceived ideas on how God wants to use us in helping others. Our question is are we willing to listen with an open mind and be obedient with a loving heart?
