John 4:9. So the Samaritan woman said to him, “How can you – a Jew  – ask me, a Samaritan woman, for water to drink?” (For Jews use nothing in common with Samaritans.)

As we read of Jesus in the Bible it’s hard not to notice He had two-way conversations.  He didn’t speak to others but spoke with others.  They had two-way conversations. Our question is what kind of conversation do we have with Jesus?  Are we the ones doing all the talking (called a monologue)?  Do we give God a chance to have His input when we pray?  It doesn’t matter if our prayer is one of praise, intercession Ora need of our own all prayer needs to be a two-way conversation.  Let us be willing to listen.  God wants to speak with us not just listen to us.
