Mark 4:39. So he got up and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, “Be quiet! Calm down!” Then the wind stopped, and it was dead calm.

So often when we face the storms of life we become fearful or stressed out like the disciples in the boat.    They forgot the could trust Jesus regardless of the circumstances they faced.  We are never alone.  Jesus promised he would never leave us. We may not be able to see Him  but He is in our boat called life.  He knows our storms.  Instead of fearing or stressing we need to trust Him.  In the book of James we are told if we ask God for wisdom He will give it to us.  God doesn’t want to live our lives for us, He wants us to live through and for Him be it in storms or pleasant bliss.  Our question is when storms come will we look to God and trust Him or kick and complain?  Let us choose to “be quiet and calm down” trusting, listening and obeying God through whatever comes into our lives.
