Breath of the God

Job 32:7-8. I said to myself, Age should speak, and length of years should make wisdom known. But it is a spirit in people, the breath of the Almighty, that makes them understand.

We can have a lot of knowledge and wisdom but without the breath of God there is no understanding.  The breath of God is His Holy Spirit Who only comes into us through God’s Son, Jesus.  Without this we have no truthful understanding on how to use knowledge, wisdom or discernment.  Government leaders with much worldly knowledge have made decisions that led to the collapse of their country.  We are told in God’s written word, the Holy Bible, to pray for our country and its leaders.  Our question is are we following this instruction from God to pray for our country and those who try to lead.?  Let us pray for the breath of God to move across each of our countries, through us and through our leaders.

Another way to put this:
Job 32:7-8. I said to myself, Age should speak, and length of years should make wisdom known. But it is a spirit in people, the breath of the Almighty, that makes them understand.

God’s knowledge and wisdom is far beyond our ability to understand.  We are created as finite beings.  God is in infinite, all-knowing, all understanding and eternal.  Our inherent sin clouds our hearts and minds.  When we receive God’s only Son, Jesus, into our minds, hearts and lives we are given the gift of God’s Holy Spirit.  It is through the Holy Spirit we begin the transforming growth from finite to infinite.  God considers us to be renewed through Jesus.  We each learn to allow His Spirit to move us into that oneness of infinite knowledge in different ways, experiences and timing.  As we learn to inhale the breath of God (the Holy Spirit through Jesus) we exhale our sinfulness.  Our question is do we want to inhale God’s breath through scripture, prayer and meditation or just coast while holding our own breath?
