Colossians 4:5. Conduct yourselves with wisdom toward outsiders, making the most of the opportunities.

Our question is what are we to do with the wisdom we receive?  We are to use it.  We are to (Colossians 4:6) “Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you should answer everyone.”  So often we let opportunities pass by.  Doors and ears are open to hear and receive the good news of God’s salvation but we are so distracted with our own thoughts, we fail to see them.  Our speech is often rushed or self-centered instead of gracious.  Sometimes it is seasoned with harshness and selfishness rather than the tastiness of the salt of God’s love.  Let s start our days asking God to make us more alert to the voice os His Holy Spirit showing us open doors and ears and speaking with gracious words of love to share the salt of His salvation with others.
