Still Appearing

1 Corinthians 15:5. and that he appeared to Cephas, then to the twelve.

There is a debate on who Cephas was.  In John 1:42 Jesus tells Simon (Peter) he shall be called Cephas which means “rock.”  But Cephas was a common name.  Some historians in. The first 4 centuries say that this Cephas is one of the 70 disciples.  It really doesn’t matter which one Jesus appeared to.  The point is Jesus was busy during those 40 days appearing to various believers increasing their faith and preparing them to receive His Holy Spirit.  Today Jesus my not appear physically since He is back with the Father but He still appears to us in many other ways through His Holy Spirit.  It might be through a smile, a kind word,  helping hand.  Our question is do we look for Him in our everyday lives or are we distracted by other things?  Do we allow Him to appear through us t others? He wants all to see Him.  Let us be busy looking and doing our part.
