2 Corinthians 3:18  And we all, with unveiled faces reflecting the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another, which is from the Lord, who is the Spirit.

We read about Jesus being transformed.  Now we read we are to be transformed.  How do we do that? We can ‘at transform ourselves.  We must allow God, through His Holy Spirit, fill us through and through.  This happens as we release our self-will, our self-centered desires and allow God to totally possess us.  As I’ve been writing these daily devotions for over 4 years and been preparing sermons, both of which have required a more detailed study and meditations on the Bible, I’ve found I am becoming more and more consumed with love, thoughts and desire for God.  This is part of the transforming process.  It’s like sugar: the more we have, the more we want.  Our question is what do we want?  Do we really want to be transformed into the image of God, the image in which mankind was initially created before sin entered?  If we do we must seek it diligently.  We must set our face toward it and take one step after another as Jesus did in facing the cross.  When we choose this we have unbelievable joy.
