Exodus 25:14. and put the poles into the rings at the sides of the ark in order to carry the ark with them.

At the time of the Hebrews wandering in the wilderness the presence of God was symbolized as being contained in the ark of His covenant with them. They were instructed to carry His presence with them wherever they go. We are also instructed to carry His Presence with us wherever we go. Today, since Jesus Christ, God’s Son has already come, died and risen for our sins and has sent His Holy Spirit to dwell within each believer we are to carry His Presence with us wherever we go. Sometimes we are embarrassed to have His Presence with us in some situations. Maybe we’re doing something, saying something, watching something or hearing something we know would not be pleasing to Him. Our question is are we really wanting to be in God’s continual Presence? Let us live, act and talk knowing He is always with us, always seeing us and always hearing us.
