Starts With Faith

Hebrews 11:6. Now without faith it is impossible to please him, for the one who approaches God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.

Everything starts with faith. Everyone has faith in something. We can’t walk on a floor without faith it will support us. We can’t sit without faith it will hold us. Faith is necessary for life. We cannot approach God without faith He exists. People have defined faith in many ways. The Bible only defines faith once. Hebrews 11:1. Now faith is being sure of what we hope for, being convinced of what we do not see. Our question is not in defining faith but in exercising faith. This chapter in Hebrews tells of how different people exercised their faith. As we live people see how we exercise our faith. Our question we must each answer is what or who is our faith in? Since God is the Source of all creation it makes sence that it is in Him that our faith starts and ends. Our faith grows through exercise and experience. Let us choose to exercise it through obedience to God encouraging us and others through our experiences.
