Matthew 20:32. Jesus stopped, called them, and said, “What do you want me to do for you?”

We were around our table for breakfast and prayed, “Lord, give us an abundance of water.” That’s all we asked. I was to go to our new property and meet the well digger. In did and he quickly reached a good source of water. I returned o our rental house and, as I opened the door I heard what sounded like our aquarium. But it was un storage. As I stepped inside I found I was in ankle dep water. The bottom of the hot water heater had rusted out and no one was there to shut off the water. God answered our prayer, an abundance of water. We were not pacific in our prayer and God was giving us a long-lasting lesson in prayer. Many of our prayers appear unanswered because we are not specific so we have no specific answer to hear or discover. It could be a lack of faith that leads us to pray generalities. Our question is do we really believe God hears and answered our prayers? Let us make our specific requests known and watch the power of God work in specific glory.
