Not My Will

Luke 22:42. “Father, if you are willing, take this cup away from me. Yet not my will but yours be done.”

Most of us are really good at telling God what we want Him to do or make possible for us. Our question is how often do we tell God we want to do His will and really mean it. This is more than tacking on “if it be Your will” at the end of our prayers. It is more than just saying we want God’s will. It is a heart and mind attitude of not only wanting God’s will to be done but also wanting to be involved in the coming about of God’s will. God’s will shall always ultimately be done. The question is will we have the blessing of being part of it.
