Ephesians 5:1. Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children.

So how do we reflect the glory of God? Paul tells us to imitate Him as our children try to imitate us. So often we are able to identify the parent of a child by the way a child speaks, looks or acts. We even see or hear ourselves when a little child plays. Sometimes that brings us up short. We don’t like what that child is reflecting about us. Our question is what is our reelection showing about God? We say we are Christians (little Christs) but are we reflecting Who Christ Jesus is, how He acts, talks and loves? We are so good at imitating the world around us. Someone says something bad about someone and soon we join in. Let us study the gospels describing how Jesus walked this earth and ask His Holy Spirit to teach us to become good imitators and reflections of Him.
