Exodus 32:12. Why should the Egyptians say, For evil he led them out to kill them in the mountains and to destroy them from the face of the earth? Turn from your burning anger, and relent of this evil against your people.

We are told God never changes and that is right. God is always all present and all-powerful. But God does have options in a His choices. What He chooses depends upon our obedience and response to Him. In Exodus Moses intervened on behalf of the people. God could have deserted them but because of Moses’ response God chose to correct them. When we don’t see God at work in our lives it isn’t God’s fault. God waits for us to walk in obedience. He waits for us to be responsive. He has options while He waits and the options He chooses are influenced by our response to God and to the situation around us. Our question is do we want the best option Gos has for us? If so we need to obey His Word, listen to Him and follow the leading of. his Holy Spirit.
