Matthew 6:9 So pray this way: Our Father in heaven, may your name be honored,

Honor means great respect. Not only are we to give honor to God”s name in the way we speak and how we say it but also in the way we even think about it. Our question is when we use any of the names which God is called are we using them in an honorable way? We say “God bless…” quite often. Are we really asking God to bless someone or something or are we just saying out of needing something to say. Do we ever use any of His names as an exclamation of anger or surprise? When we say or hear His name said does it stir love in our hearts? Let’s think about the way we say His names. Take some time soon to research all the descriptive names we use in referring to God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit
