Matthew 6:10. may your kingdom come,

When we ask for God’s kingdom to come we need to know what His kingdom is. In Romans 14:17 we read, “For the kingdom of God does not consist of food and drink, but righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit.” We are asking for God’s righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit
to come. These attributes can only come if we allow them to come within us. We cannot look to the world or things of this world for these attributes. They only exist through God. Without God there is no righteousness, no peace, and no joy. God gives these to us through His Holy Spirit. The world searches for these attributes in vain when looking at worldly things. Our question is where do we look for righteousness, peace, and joy? Satan tries to imitate these attributes but his imitations only last for a fleeting moment. Let us seek God’s kingdom to be within us that we can share these attributes of His kingdom with others.
