God’s Will

Matthew 6:10. may your kingdom come, may your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

That’s a strong statement. Having God”s will done AS it is done in heaven. In heaven God rules without exception. I doubt there is any debate going on. God speaks, the saints listen and obey without question. We know God’s will through the scriptures yet we debate and delay if not just disobey. Jesus said in Luke 12:8 “I tell you, whoever acknowledges me before men, the Son of Man will also acknowledge before Gods angels”. Yet we often stay silent. God says love our neighbor as ourselves and we have troubles doing either. God says go into the world and we huddle in our churches. Our question is do we really want God’s will on earth regardless or our own fleshly desires and comfort? Next time we say these words let’s be sure to mean them, not just recite them
