Lost Children

Jeremiah 31:15. The Lord says, “A sound is heard in Ramah, a sound of crying in bitter grief. It is the sound of Rachel weeping for her children and refusing to be comforted, because her children are gone.”

Joseph and Mary were able to get out of range of Herod’s command to kill all boys 2 years old and under but many babies were killed. This was prophesied in Jeremiah. But children are still being lost. Their parents don’t know Jesus and the children aren’t hearing the message of salvation. The question is are we weeping over their loss? Are we concerned enough to do something about it? Most of us will have opportunities to speak with children during this advent season, let us be sure to speak more of Jesus then we speak of Santa Clause or material gifts. Let us be willing for Hod to us us yo bring His Son to the children.
