God Knows

Isaiah 53:3. He was despised and rejected by people, one who experienced pain and was acquainted with illness; people hid their faces from him; he was despised, and we considered him insignificant.

We have all rejected Jesus throughout our walks. Before you deny this pause and think. When you have a problem or a decision where is the first place you go for the answer? If we answer anyone or anything other than our prayer closet we are guilty of rejection Jesus. So often we save prayer as a last resort rather than putting it as our first choice. Nome times we wrongly think our issue is not big enough for God’s concern. We tend to forget God, through His Son, Jesus, walked this earth constrained as a human in bodies like ours. He experienced pain, knew illness and knew rejection. He not only knows first hand what we are up against, He knows the best answer to any situation. Advent, the time of preparation and anticipation is a good time to re-align our thinking and priorities. Let’s not only look to God first in all things, let’s tell others all God is wanting to do for them. Let’s prepare hearts and minds to receive Jesus and eagerly anticipate His coming again.
