Go Where?

Hebrews 11:8 By faith Abraham, when he was called, obeyed to go out unto a place which he was to receive for an inheritance; and he went out, not knowing whither he went.

Abraham went forward at God’s instruction without knowing where he was going. It was enough for him to know he was doing God’s bidding. We are into a new year. Perhaps we are making plans for the year. Our question is are we asking God for His plans for us? It takes faith and trust to walk as a little child. A small child in content to walk with the parent anywhere the parent goes. It’s not important to the child where they are going as long as they are with the parent. We are told to be as little children in our faith and trust. As we make plans for the yer let us be willing for god to change our direction and respond with joy and anticipation at what god will do in and through us.
