Kingdom of God

Romans 14:17. For the kingdom of God does not consist of food and drink, but righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit is the embodiment of righteousness, peace and joy. God released His Holy Spirit to dwell in His believing children because of the sacrifice of His Son, His Word made flesh, in our place. Jesus was and is perfect righteousness. If we do not have peace and joy we are blocking the Holy Spirit. When we realize we don’t have His peace and joy we must look within ourselves to see what is blocking the Holy Spirit. It might be our attitude, unconfessed sin, unbelief or any variety of actions, things or thoughts. Our goal is to walk on this earth with the Kingdom of God in us through the Holy Spirit. May we each walk in His peace and joy.
