Ephesians 2:10. For we are his workmanship, having been created in Christ Jesus for good works that God prepared beforehand so we may do them.

There is no retirement for Christians. God created us for His pleasure and prepared works for us to do. He gave us His Holy Spirit through Jesus Christ to enable us to do the wars He created for us. The Holy Spirit gives us gifts of tools to enable us to do the works God created for us to do. If we fail to use the tools He gave us He will give them to someone else to use. If we fail to do the works He created for us He will use someone else for those works and we will miss out on blessings. If we are tired of the works He created for us to do we are not using the tools He gave us through His Holy Spirit. Our question is are we willing for God to show us what works He created for us to do and use the tools He gives us? The works will vary as we become more familiar with our tools. We may repeat the works we’ve done and will also grow into new types of works. Let us learn to use the tools He gives us and continually grow into varied works.
