Psalms 31:24. Be strong and confident, all you who wait on the Lord

We use the word “wait. In many ways. It can me to be in readiness for something, to serve someone or to be without action. It can mean more than one definition in one occurrence of a sentence. We are told to be strong and confident. We have little need to be strong and confident if we are sitting and doing nothing. We are to be in a ready state for the return of Jesus Christ, God’s Son, the Word of God in flesh and blood, to come and bring His Bride, the believers to join the God head in heaven. To be in readiness we must keep a clean slate through confession of our sins, and be found using the tools He,s given us through His Holy Spirit for the works He’s given each of us to do. That means we are to bin readiness while serving God. We each must ask ourselves, are we read?
