For Sinners

Matthew 9:10. As Jesus was having a meal in Matthews house, many tax collectors and sinners came and ate with Jesus and his disciples.

So many times Christians try to avoid the people who are without God. Many things drive us away like vulgar language or strange looks. Jesus didn’t avoid the sinners. Those deep in sin are the very ones He came to save. Our question is do we spend most of our time in our comfort zone around people who speak, act and dress like us? We are to follow the example of Jesus and love those we consider to be un-loveable into the Kingdom of God. The next time we want to turn away let’s pray and then open our hearts and mouths to spread the love of God and bring someone into His Kingdom.
