Incarnate

1 John 3:14-15. We know that we have crossed over from death to life because we love our fellow Christians. The one who does not love remains in death.

When we accept Jesus into our life we become incarnate in Him. That means our embodiment in us is the life of God. This gives us the personal relationship with God and eternal life with Him. We live in the power of our relationship with God through His Word, Jesus Christ. God is love so we must also become love. Our relationship with God is shown by our love for all His creation. Therefore if we don’t show love for each other we are showing our lack of love for God. God measures our love for Him by our love for each other. Some time take a search through the Bible on the word love. A good place to start is 1 Corinthians 13. It is a good description and what love is. Read it every day putting your name in place of the word “love” and see how you measure up to the description. If you’re like me you’ll see God has a lot of work to do in the incarnation process.
