1 Corinthians 15:6 Then he appeared to more than five hundred brothers at one time, most of whom are still alive, though some have fallen asleep.

We are not told if all 500 were together in one place or one time or if He appeared to them in smaller groups. The main point is 500 witnesses are very strong. When that may people affirm they saw Jesus alive it’s pretty strong proof. Many today try to argue there is no proof that Jesus rose from the dead. Just because we weren’t there to see it doesn’t mean it didn’t happen. We believe America fought a war for independence but we must believe it on the witness of the past. My feeling is those that don’t believe it really happened are looking for an excuse to continue with their own self-styled life. The question for those of us who do believe and know without a doubt because of the witness of the Holy Spirit within us is are we joining the more than 500 by witnessing to the fact Jesus is alive today and will come back, physically, to this earth to bring His believers home?
