What Use is Belief?

I Corinthians 15:7 Then he appeared to James, then to all the apostles.

The appearances of Jesus are scattered in the Gospel accounts and in the letters from the apostles ([Lk 24:44-49; Acts 1:3-8]. The point is Jesus did appear to many people at various places and times for witnessing to His resurrection from the dead. Many have tried to disprove the Holy Bible but have not been able to. Read “Evidence Demands a Verdict” by Josh McDowell. In his effort to disprove the Bible he proved it to be true and factual. We have the power to choose what we believe. We can believe a chair is an object to sit on but unless we actually sit on it, it is of no use to us. We must believe enough to trust it to sit in it and make use of it. We can believe Jesus is alive but unless we choose to trust Him and allow Him into our hearts, minds and livee through obedience and worship our belief is of no use to us. Our question is are we living the resurrected life in Jesus He wants to give us through His Holy Spirit?
