Matthew 28:19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,

The original meaning of baptism is to admit someone into a specific group. When we baptize someone today we are admitting them into a particular church. We are to do this through and in thee name of God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. We cannot believe and follow one without the others because the three are one and the one is three. We are created in God’s image. We consist of body, mind and soul. Before we come into God’s family through Jesus our soul remains dead because we need God’s Holy Spirit to wake it to new life in Jesus. Our question is are we allowing our soul (God’s Holy Spirit) to fully live within us?
