Maatthew 28:20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”“`

We’ve read testimonies of witness as to the death and resurrection of Jesus. We’ve read His final instructions to all His followers (that includes us). Now what? The parting words of Jesus sum it all up. He is always with us. While He physically walked this earth as a man He couldn’t always be with anyone. He was contained in a physical body. Now He has ascended to heaven and sent His Holy Spirit to dwell within us. Now He is always with us. Our problem is we aren’t always aware He is with us so we go off on our own. We forget to abide in Him. One way I’ve found to help stay aware of His Presence is to speak with Him thee first thing when I wake up and ask God to keep me aware of His Presence throughout the day. Yes, I slip in and out but I choose to work on it until it becomes a deeply ingrained habit of awareness. How about you?
