Romans 8:17 and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, provided we suffer with him in order that we may also be glorified with him.

When we accept Jesus into our hearts, minds and lives we are adopted into God’s family and no longer considered to be creations of God but adopted as children with all the benefits and responsibilities of children. Our only part was accepting the grace and gift of God through His Son, Jesus. Jesus did all the work to make our inheritance possible. Because we are now part of God’s Son’s inheritance we have been given Hi Spirit and the right to use His name. Satan cannot stand in the presence of the name of Jesus. When we use His name in vain or just as an expression of frustration or anger it waters down the power our using it has. It is so important to be careful with our inheritance, careful with using the most powerful name in all creation. Along with the power of His name and the right to use it, as joint heirs we have access to all things that are His, the world or life or death, or things present or things to come are all ours to share with Jesus as joint heirs. We must be careful with our inheritance. We mustn’t squander it away. We must study the life Jesus walked on this earth and learn how to use all that He used while on this earth
