Hebrews 13:20-21 Now may the God of peace who brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great shepherd of the sheep, by the blood of the eternal covenant, equip you with everything good that you may do his will, working in us that which is pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.

Note the words” by the blood of the eternal covenant.” God was not without knowledge of what His creation, man, would do. He knew man would disobey and separate himself from God, his Creator. God already had a plan with His Word, His Son. At the right time His Son would leave the Father and come on this earth through a woman to be born as flesh and blood. He would demonstrate the love and shed the Light of the Godhead by example and teaching. At the right time He would allow Himself to be taken by sinful mankind and killed on a cross. As He physically died on the cross and the Father would turn away from Him, the Word, Jesus, would take on all the sins of the created mankind for all eternity. After He rose from that terrible death He would ascend back to the Father and then send His Holy Spirit to indwell within anyone who would receive His gift of sacrifice and follow Him as Lord and Savior of their life. Until that glorious time mankind could only stumble and attempt to obey a group of laws. The laws only served to demonstrate to mankind how impossible it was to be in the image of God without the forgiveness of sins through Jesus and the Holy Spirit to enable, teach and guide. This covenant of blood is for all mankind for all eternity. Have you availed yourself of this co covenant? Have you shared this wonderful news with others?
